                        The Organizing Committee invites abstracts on all aspects of RNA
                        structure, function, biology and chemistry. Abstracts for oral
                        presentations will be selected by the Committee and the Session
                        Coordinators. Additional oral presentation sessions will be considered,
                        depending on the abstracts received. Other abstracts will be presented
                        as posters.

                        Registration materials will be mailed to all members of the RNA
                        Society and to participants of previous RNA Society meetings by the
                        end of November, 2000. Others interested in participating should
                        contact the RNA Society by the end of October, 2000, to be included
                        on the mailing list. The deadline for registration and submission of
                        abstracts will be Wednesday February 28, 2001.
